Chronic diseases - A Growing Problem in Workplace
Singapore's ageing population and adoption of unhealthy lifestyles has contributed to the increasing prevalence of chronic diseases (diabetes, high blood pressure, high blood cholesterol & stroke). The risk of getting one or more of these chronic diseases increases with age. The onset of health complications for such diseases and the high medical costs resulting from hospitalisation can be delayed or even prevented through early detection and appropriate management.
Manage Chronic Diseases - Reduce Economic Cost in the Workplace
Well controlled chronic conditions can reduce an employee's medical leave and hospitalisation rates. In the long run, this reduces health care costs to your organisation, while simultaneously improving productivity.
