To help you to continue to track your food intake, physical activity, and more, Health Promotion Board has launched an enhanced mobile app  – Healthy 365, available for free download on App Store and Google Play Store.

The Healthy 365 enables you to track your daily steps count and calculate the corresponding calories burned as you move. It also helps to track your daily food and drinks intake and the corresponding calories consumed. It provides an overview of your overall daily calories consumed and burned, aiding you in your weight management journey for a healthier lifestyle.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question #1: What does “decommissioning” /  “no longer supported” means?

Answer: You can continue using iDAT app as a standalone mobile app. However, there will no longer be any new challenges nor new features beyond the current version. iDAT will be removed from the App Stores & Google Play store and there will not be any technical support rendered.

Question #2: The iDAT app has been useful in tracking calories. Why is it decommissioned?

Answer: HPB introduced a similar but enhanced app – Healthy 365 app. Healthy 365 is a health and diet tracking mobile application. Most functions on iDAT like food databases and calorie counting functions have been incorporated into the Healthy 365 app. It also includes enhanced features like a diet dashboard to view your top 3 highest calories food and drinks consumed for the day. It also has a steps dashboard that tracks your daily steps count, measured by your smartphone’s in-app accelerometer. By putting together the concept of caloric balance, the Healthy 365 app provides an overview of your overall daily calories consumed and burned, aiding you in your weight management journey for a healthier lifestyle. Question #3: Do I need to delete the iDAT app from my smartphone? Can I continue to use it even after it is decommissioned?

Answer: You can continue using iDAT app as a standalone mobile app. However, there will no longer be any new challenges nor new features beyond the current version. iDAT will be removed from the App Stores & Google Play store and there will not be any technical support rendered.

Question #4:  What will happen to all my records on iDAT app? I have been using the “history” function to track my activity and my weight loss journey.

Answer: All records on iDAT app will remain stored in your mobile phone.

Question #5:  Can I migrate all my iDAT records to Healthy 365 app?

Answer: Your iDAT records cannot be migrated to Healthy 365 app as it is designed differently. We recommend that you download Healthy 365 app immediately, so that you can start building your records with the latest food database and track your activity with ease. Question #6:  Some of iDAT features are not available on Healthy 365. For example, the “connect with friends” feature that was available on iDAT app. How do I continue to connect with my friends?

Answer: We are constantly reviewing and improving Healthy 365 app, with all the feedback received from members of the public. The Healthy 365 app will eventually be enhanced to enable social sharing, hence we encourage you to download Healthy 365 and start using it soon. You may wish to encourage your friends to download Healthy 365 app so that together, you can continue to motivate each other and lead an active and healthy lifestyle.
